Hendrik Lambertus

Hendrik Lambertus (born Hendrik Braesch on February 22, 1979 in Hanover ) is a German writer and writing coach.

life and work

Hendrik Lambertus studied Scandinavian studies , older German and Indology at the University of Tübingen , where he received his doctorate with a thesis on the late medieval literature of Iceland. He lives with his wife and four children near Bremen and runs a writing workshop there.

He mainly writes fantastic and historical books for children, young people and adults. His debut Zwillingsblut 1: Der Kampf der Zwerge, which was published by Bastei Lübbe in 2018 , was nominated for the SERAPH Fantastic Literature Prize. He has also published short stories in several anthologies.

He is a member of the fantastic authors network PAN.

  • 2011: First place in the tender "For Life" (Corona Magazine 255) for the short story The Auxiliator
  • 2011: First prize in the "Mondgeschichten" competition (free editor XUN) for the short story Die Mondkorsaren
  • 2019: Nomination for the SERAPH (longlist) in the category "Best Debut" for twin blood - The Battle of the Dwarfs
  • 2019: "Boys and Books" -Top title for boys for Die Mitternachtssschule 1: First Hour - Geisterkunde
