Henneberg fiefdom directory
The Henneberg fiefdom index documents the fiefdoms of the Counts of Henneberg at the beginning of the 14th century.
The list is usually dated to 1317 in the literature, but it was created in the phase from 1332 to 1340.
The directory is an early source , which also describes places in the western Fichtelgebirge that belong to the scattered possessions of Count Berthold and son Heinrich . The first mentioned is the Rudolfstein rule , which was occupied by the von Hirschberg family . The possessions extend over places in the Bischofsgrün , Gefrees and Münchberg area . Numerous desertions are mentioned, including u. a. Berngrün , Hausgrün , Mühlhausen , Saldorf near Oppenroth and Putzenreuth .
