Hennig Albert von Stammer

Hennig Albert von Stammer (born July 9, 1804 in Triestewitz , † June 8, 1884 in Marienbad , Austria-Hungary ) was a German manor owner, cathedral dean and politician.

Hennig Albert von Stammer, who came from the Saxon noble family Stammer , was the son of the Saxon captain Hennig Ludwig Adolph von Stammer and Henriette Wilhelmina nee. of Kracht. His baptism took place on July 18, 1804 at Triestewitz Castle. In 1819 he attended the state school in Meißen and studied from 1823 to 1825 at the University of Leipzig .

After his father's death on March 26, 1823, he and his two brothers inherited the paternal estate of Camitz in the Torgau district . In 1843 he left his share in this estate to his brother, the Prussian lieutenant Hennig Arnd von Stammer. For this he acquired the Zottewitz manor . Stammer was capitular in 1862, senior and scholasticus in 1867 and canon and dean of the Wurzen collegiate monastery from 1870 at the latest , when he was a member of the first chamber of the Saxon state parliament from 1862 to 1884 .

He died during a spa stay in Marienbad, Bohemia. His only daughter Josephine Henriette Agnes von Stammer became his sole heir.
