Raven Henning von der Lancken (born August 3, 1937 in Hamburg ; † July 2, 2014 in Berlin ) was a German state politician for the CDU in Berlin . He was the district mayor of Berlin-Wilmersdorf .

Life

Henning von der Lancken studied industrial engineering and business administration at the TU Berlin from 1958 to 1964 . He was State Secretary for Building and Housing in Berlin from 1981 to 1989 and was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives from 1971 to 1975 . From 1979 to 1981 he was the district mayor of Wilmersdorf.

Henning von der Lancken was from 1964 disaster control officer of the Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe . In 1968 he became a knight of honor of the Brandenburg Provincial Cooperative of the Order of St. John and was its governing commander from 1978 to 1999. From 2005 to 2007 he was an honorary board member of Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe in Berlin-Brandenburg.
