Henri Anet

Henri Anet (born January 15, 1895 in Montreux ; † September 14, 1983 there , entitled to live in Le Châtelard ) was a Swiss politician .

Life

Anet graduated from the Châtelaine School of Horticulture in 1916 and did an internship in France from 1916 to 1918 . From 1918 to 1927 he was involved in the cultivation of the Orbe and Rhone plains. He then worked from 1927 to 1944 as advertising manager for the chemical company Dr. R. Maag works for French-speaking Switzerland. From 1935 to 1950 he was President of the Agricultural Association of the Canton of Vaud and was on the central committee of the Swiss Fruit Association. In 1943 he founded the cold storage facility in Charrat .

He was the first substitute on the list of liberals in the Swiss parliamentary elections in 1943 and was promoted to the National Council when Paul Nerfin resigned in 1946 . However, he only had a seat there until 1947. From 1961 to 1973 he was Mayor of Veytaux .
