Charrat is a municipal municipality and a civic municipality in the Martigny district in the French-speaking part of the Swiss canton of Valais .

geography

The municipality of Charrat is located on the southern side of the Rhone Valley east of Martigny and consists of the villages of Les Chênes and Vision as well as the predominantly industrial area around the Charrat-Fully train station.
