Henrik Eiben

Henrik Eiben (* 1975 in Tokyo ) is a German draftsman , painter and sculptor .

life and work

Henrik Eiben was born in Japan to German parents. He studied from 1997 to 2002 at the AKI in Enschede and in 2001 completed a semester abroad at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore . From 2002 to 2004 he continued his studies at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe with Silvia Bächli .

Henrik Eiben creates works through varied uses and combinations of different fabrics with other materials that question our usual patterns of perception.
