Henrik Humann

Henrik Humann (born February 18, 1951 in Aue , † July 20, 2012 in Greiffenberg ) was a contemporary visual artist and master gold and silversmith .

Life

Henrik Humann was the only son of the painter and graphic artist Helmut Humann . From 1968 to 1971 he did an apprenticeship in goldsmithing with Johannes Seidel (artist in handicraft) in Schwarzenberg . From 1971 to 1973 he worked for the artist collective Hans Brockhage and Helmut Humann in Aue and until 1974 with W. Franz in Weimar . From 1975 onwards, Humann attended the Frankfurt / Oder company academy while he was serving in the NVA and graduated in 1978 with a master of precious metal processing. Humann has been working freelance in Schwedt / Oder since 1977 .

The artistic autodidact has been a member of the VBK-GDR since 1981 , a member of the district committee of the VBK-GDR and the arts and crafts section, and since 1990 a member of the BVBK e. V. (BBK).

Humann was married and had two daughters and a son. He died on July 20, 2012 in his house in Greiffenberg.
