Henry FitzRoy, 12th Duke of Grafton
Henry Oliver Charles FitzRoy, 12th Duke of Grafton (born April 6, 1978 ), also known by the short name Harry Grafton , is a British peer and music organizer .
Life
He is the son of James Oliver Charles FitzRoy, Earl of Euston (1947-2009) and his wife Lady Clare Amabel Margaret Kerr, a daughter of Peter Kerr, 12th Marquess of Lothian . His father was the eldest son and heir to Hugh FitzRoy, 11th Duke of Grafton (1919-2011). As his father's apparent marriage , he had carried the courtesy title Viscount Ipswich from birth . After the death of his father in 2009, he could have used the courtesy title Earl of Euston as the apparent marriage of his grandfather , but did not. On April 7, 2011, he inherited his grandfather as the Duke of Grafton .
His ancestor Henry FitzRoy, 1st Duke of Grafton (1663–1690), was an illegitimate son of King Charles II with Barbara Villiers, 1st Duchess of Cleveland . He shares the surname FitzRoy, which means "son of the king", with the other illegitimate descendants of King Charles II. His coat of arms is the royal coat of arms of Charles II, which is covered with a bastard thread .
He attended Harrow School and studied at Edinburgh University . He then completed a postgraduate year in estate administration at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester .
From 2002 to 2004 he worked in the USA as a music salesman, as a radio presenter in Nashville , Tennessee, and from 2005 to 2006 as merchandise coordinator for the Rolling Stones on the A Bigger Bang tour.
In 2007 he moved to London , but after the death of his father returned to Suffolk to help manage the family's Euston Estate.
On August 14, 2010, he married Olivia Margaret Sladen in Snowshill, Gloucestershire . You have three children:
- Alfred James Charles FitzRoy, Earl of Euston (born December 26, 2012), his marriage apparent;
- Lady Rosetta Christina Clare FitzRoy (born July 20, 2015);
- Lord Rafe FitzRoy (born March 16, 2017).
He lives in the traditional family home of the Dukes of Grafton, Euston Hall in Euston in Suffolk , near the city limits of Thetford in Norfolk .
