Henryk Darlowski

Henryk Darlowski (* 1953 in Warsaw ) is a Polish jazz musician (keyboards) and freelance artist based in Wiesbaden.

Between 1970 and 1972 Darlowski played with the Rheingau Krautrock band The Group , which came second in a nationwide competition after Kin Ping Meh . After an interlude with Out of Nowhere , he founded the fusion band Virgo in 1974 with Bobby Stern , Reinhard Glöder and Lothar Scharf . The group gave concerts in Europe, performed at numerous festivals and released several albums, with various line-up changes. He was also involved in recordings with Zipflo Reinhardt . He was the musical director of various theater productions and edited the Threepenny Opera by Brecht / Weill for a production at the Westphalian State Theater . He also attended courses at Berklee College of Music before studying law and musicology at the University of Frankfurt am Main from 1990 to 1996 . This was followed by training as a multimedia designer.
