Henryk Gołębiewski (* 22. July 1942 in Lubowidz ) is a Polish politician , local politicians, teachers, former Voivode of the Voivodeship Wałbrzych , former Woiwodschaftsmarschall the Province of Lower Silesia , former Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Sport, Senator of the Fifth legislature and since 2005 deputy of the Sejm in the V. and VI . Electoral term.

In 1968 he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics at the Technical University of Wrocław. He worked as a teacher at the School of Mechanical Professions in Wałbrzych , was the deputy director and director of this school. From 1982 to 1984 he was the director of the Voivodeship Administration Office of the Child Protection Society in Wałbrzych. From 1985 to 1990 he was mayor of Wałbrzych, from 1990 to 1993 he headed the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Wałbrzych Voivodeship, fulfilled the function of voivodeship of the Wałbrzych Voivodeship from 1993 to 1997. He then became a local politician again Deputy Mayor and Secretary of the City (1998–2000) and Secretary of the City of Wałbrzych (2000–2001), and Member of the Sejmik of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in the first electoral term. Since 1991 he has also been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Polish Youth Hostel Association.

He is a member of the Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej (Federation of the Democratic Left - SLD) and is a member of the party's voivodship executive committee. In 2001 he was elected to the Senate for the Wałbrzych constituency. He resigned this mandate in January 2003 because of his election as Voivodeship Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. He held the position of Woidschaftsmarschall until 2004. In the same year he was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Education and Sport.

In the 2005 parliamentary elections , he was elected to the Sejm from the SLD's list. In 2007 he was again a member of the Lewica i Demokraci (Left and Democrats - LiD) list with 10,664 votes . He is deputy chairman of the Sejm commission for education, science and youth, as well as a member of the commission for environmental protection.

On April 22nd, he moved to the Lewica faction .
