Henryk Nielaba (born September 5, 1933 in Katowice ) is a former Polish fencer .

Henryk Nielaba was world champion with the epee team in Gdansk in 1963 and vice world champion with the foil team. With the Degen team he was also runner-up in 1970 in Ankara . In 1961 in Turin and 1962 in Buenos Aires he secured bronze with the foil team with the foil team. Nielaba took part in the Olympic Games three times , but only in the epee competitions: in 1964 in Tokyo he finished ninth in the singles and fifth with the team. At the Olympic Games in Mexico City in 1968 he reached the battle for third place with the Polish team, in which Germany was defeated 9: 6. Together with Bohdan Andrzejewski , Kazimierz Barburski , Bohdan Gonsior and Michał Butkiewicz , Nielaba received the bronze medal. He finished the individual competition in seventh place. In 1972 he was eliminated from the singles in Munich in the quarter-finals. In the team competition he was sixth.

Nielaba won the Polish championship in 1958 with a foil and in 1972 with a sword. He secured a total of 18 titles with the foil and the epee in the team competition. He fought for Międzyszkolny KS Katowice, Górnik Katowice and Legia Warsaw.
