Kazimierz Zygfryd Barburski (born August 7, 1942 in Łódź ; May 26, 2016 ibid) was a Polish sword fencer .
successes
Kazimierz Barburski was in 1970 in Ankara with the team runner-up . He took part in the Olympic Games twice: at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City , he and the Polish team won the battle for third place, in which Germany was defeated 9: 6. Together with Bohdan Andrzejewski , Michał Butkiewicz , Bohdan Gonsior and Henryk Nielaba , Barburski received the bronze medal. In 1972 he took sixth place in the team competition in Munich . In 1974 he became Polish champion with the sword. With the team he won nine national championships with the sword between 1964 and 1975, and also in 1965 with the foil. He fought for the Łódź LPZ and for Legia Warsaw.
