Henryk Trzonek
Henryk Trzonek (born October 29, 1912 in Łódź , † December 3, 1943 ) was a Polish violist .
Trzonek first studied violin at Helena Kijeńska-Dobkiewiczowas Conservatory in Łódź and later viola with Mieczysław Szalezki at the Warsaw Conservatory . There he met Halina Kowalska , whom he married in 1933. Until the outbreak of the Second World War he was a member of the Polish Radio Orchestra under the direction of Grzegorz Fitelberg and of the Radio String Quartet.
In the time of the German occupation, he played in Eugenia Umińskas String Quartet (with Kazimierz Wilkomirski and Roman Padlewski ), which in Bolesław Woytowiczs Salon Sztuki occurred and has performed world premieres of compositions Roman Padlewskis, Roman Palesters , Zbigniew Turskis , Stanisław Wiechowicz ' Bacewicz ' , Kazimierz Wiłkomirskis and Witold Rudzińskis . He was also a member of the orchestra of Zygmunt Latoszewski , which appeared in Café Gastonomia and the orchestra under Adam Dołżycki , which is based in Café Lardelli . In November 1943 he was arrested by the Gestapo and executed on December 3rd.
