Herberode was a small settlement in today's district of Nothfelden , a district of northern Hesse City Wolfhagen , Kassel district .

The place is only mentioned in a document in 1510 and was probably about 0.9 km southwest of Nothfelden and 3 km northeast of Wolfhagen at 324  m altitude in the corridor "Auf dem Herberod" west of the state road L 3214.
