Herbert Norsch

Herbert Frederick Norsch (* 15. August 1908 in St. Louis , Missouri ; † 28 July 1955 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American film technicians for special effects which, in the Academy Awards in 1941 for the Oscar for Best Special Effects was nominated .

Life

Norsch began his career as a film technician for special effects in 1940 with the film Women in War and was nominated for this along with Howard Lydecker , William Bradford and Bud Thackery at the Academy Awards in 1941 for the Oscar for best special effects.

He worked as a film technician until shortly before his death and was involved in the production of almost thirty films and episodes of television series .
