Heribert Aichinger

Heribert Aichinger (born September 13, 1903 in St. Pölten , † December 6, 1985 ) was an Austrian actor. Heribert Aichinger graduated from the acting academy under Rudolf Beer, who was also director of the Volkstheater. In his class were u. a. Paula Wessely, Karl Paryla, Sigfried Breuer, Leon Epp. Then he became a student at the Volkstheater. At the end of the twenties Aichinger was brought to Berlin by Max Rheinhardt and then played with Max Rheinhardt in Berlin and at the theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna. He remained loyal to Josefstadt until his death in 1985. He mainly worked in the theater (he appeared at the Salzburg Festival , among others ), he also played a number of film and television roles. In the TV adaptation of Waldbrunns / Winiewicz's Die Flucht from 1966, he played Svoboda, whom he had already portrayed at the Vienna premiere.

Aichinger's grave is located in the Vienna Central Cemetery.
