Heribert Rahdjian (born January 1, 1936 in Vienna ) is an Austrian hotelier and politician .

He was the son of an Armenian born and a Viennese woman, graduated from high school at the Jesuit College Kalksburg and then spent several semesters studying law . After training in the tourism industry, I worked for 43 years in the hotel industry. After the electoral success of the Wiener Grünen in the municipal council elections in 2005 , he was appointed district chairman of the 8th district of Vienna . Rahdjian was the second green district leader in Vienna after Thomas Blimlinger . Rahdjian was not selected as the top candidate by the Josefstadt Greens when the list was drawn up for the 2010 district council election. As a result, Rahdjian, who was never a member of the Greens , ran his own list ECHT Josefstadt - List Heribert Rahdjian in the district council election in October 2010. He immediately achieved around 12% of the votes and thus five seats, which was the best result in Vienna for a purely district party. Rahdjian has been a district councilor since 2010.

Heribert Rahdjian is the father of Arpiné Rahdjian .
