Herlison Caion de Sousa Ferreira , also simply called Caion , born October 5, 1990 in Caxias , is a Brazilian football player .

Career

Caion learned to play football at AD Recreativa e Cultural Icasa in Juazeiro do Norte . He signed his first contract in 2008 with Iraty SC , a club based in Irati . Via Ferroviário AC (CE) , he moved to South Korea in 2009 , where he joined Gangwon FC , a club that played in the country's top division, the K League . From 2012 to 2014 he played for several Brazilian clubs, u. a. at SER Caxias do Sul , Mirassol FC , CA Bragantino , Náutico Capibaribe , Chapecoense , Grêmio Osasco Audax and Associação Portuguesa de Desportos . In 2014 he moved to Iraq . Here he played for al-Shorta SC until 2015 . He moved to Europe in 2015 and signed a contract in Denmark with HB Køge in Køge . In 2016 he went back to his native Brazil. Before moving to Daegu FC in South Korea in 2018 , he played at EC Cruzeiro , Atlético Goianiense , Esteghlal Khuzestan FC , EC Juventude and Paysandu SC . With Daegu FC he played in the K League. In the same year he signed a contract for the back series in Thailand with the then first division club Navy FC . After relegating the Navy, he left Thailand and went back to Brazil, where he played three times for his former club Paysandu SC. For the 2019 season he came back to Thailand, where he signed a contract with the first division club PT Prachuap FC . After the first half of the season he was loaned to league rivals Chonburi FC . After the loan ended, Caion was signed by Chonburi for 2020.
