The PT Prachuap FC ( Thai : สโมสร ฟุตบอล พี ที ประจวบ ) is a football club from Thailand in the province of Prachuap , founded 2011th The club currently plays in the highest Thai soccer league, the Thai League .
The club started in the third division, Division 2 Central & East in 2009 and finished tenth after the season ended. The 2010 season should compete Prachuap in Division 2 South. Due to financial concerns and security concerns, they did not take part in 2010. After being officially founded, they played in Division 2 Central & East from 2011 to 2013. In 2014 the club had to compete in Division 2 South. Here Prachuap FC finally became champions. In the champions round of the third division, they defeated Thai Honda FC in the final and rose to the second division of Thailand, Division 1 . In 2015 and 2016 they occupied a single-digit table position in Division 1 . With a third place in 2017, they finally rose to the Thai League , the highest league in Thailand. In 2017 the club was renamed from Prachuap FC to PT Prachuap FC. PT stands for the main sponsor PTG Energy .

PT Prachuap FC plays its home games at the Sam Ao Stadium in Prachuap . Before the renaming, the stadium was called Prachuap-Khiri-Khan-Province-Stadium and is administered by the owner Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Administration Organization . The stadium is a multi-purpose stadium and has a capacity of 5,000 spectators. The stadium is named after the famous seascape (Prachuap Bay, Manao Bay, Noii Bay). These three bays are called Sam Ao in Thailand .
