Hermann Arnhold ( Russian Герман Арнгольд ; born October 3, 1921 in the village of Schaffhausen on the Volga (formerly Volga German Republic ); † May 3, 1991 in Karaganda ) was a Russian-German poet .

Life

After graduation in 1941 Balzer he was with his compatriots in September 1941 in the Altai region of Siberia deported . Until the end of 1946 he was exiled to the labor camp ( Trud Army ) on the Kama in the Urals . From 1948 to 1962 he was a teacher in the Altai region. From 1956 to 1961 he took up distance learning at the Foreign Language Institute in Alma-Ata and worked at the same institute from 1963 to 1978 as a teacher and senior teacher. In 1978 he received his doctorate in philology with a specialty: lexicology and history of the German language . From 1978 to 1986 he was a professor and lecturer at Karaganda University . In 1986 he retired.

Literary publications since the mid-1950s in the Russian-German daily press , which published over 1,000 poems .
