Hermann Bohle
Hermann Bohle (born October 4, 1876 in Neustadt ; † July 12, 1943 in Berlin ) was a German scientist with a doctorate and a National Socialist group leader.
Live and act
Bohle was a college teacher and electrical engineer who first emigrated to England and earned his doctorate and habilitation . From 1932 to 1934 Bohle was the national group leader of the NSDAP / AO in the South African Union . In March 1935 the headquarters of the AO was relocated from Hamburg to Berlin. His son Ernst Wilhelm Bohle , the youngest Gauleiter in National Socialist Germany, whom Joseph Goebbels described in his diary on November 7th, 1935 as “one of our most capable people” , was active in management positions at the AO. The AO became a powerful authority in Berlin. It allegedly had over 800 employees before the war began. After the Bohles moved to Berlin, Hermann Bohle also returned from South Africa. Bohle lived as a professor in Berlin-Wilmersdorf , Düsseldorfer Straße 34. In this function he ran on the nomination of the NSDAP on the list place No. 128 in the Reichstag election on March 29, 1936. Bohle was not elected to the National Socialist Reichstag . Hermann Bohle acted as President of the Berlin-based German-South African Society from 1938 . In 1938 he was the district manager for technology. At times Bohle was also professor for electrical engineering in South Africa .
