Hermann Bröring

Hermann Bröring (* 1945 in Rhede (Ems) ) is a German administrative officer and Lower Saxony local politician ( CDU ).

Career

Hermann Bröring studied theology at the Philosophical-Theological University of Sankt Georgen in Frankfurt am Main and economics at the University of Cologne . He graduated with a degree in economics . From 1971 he was a lecturer at the social institute Kommende Dortmund , from 1973 he taught at the Ludwig-Windthorst-Haus in Lingen-Holthausen. With the appointment of his director Werner Remmers as Lower Saxony's minister of culture, Bröring went to Hanover in 1976 as his personal advisor and head of the ministerial office.

In 1979 he moved to the administration of the Emsland district . He was initially head of the regional planning department , then head of the school / culture and nature conservation / regional planning departments. In 1984 he was elected Deputy City Director and City Treasurer of Lingen (Ems) . In 1990 he was elected as district director of the Emsland district, and in 1991 as senior district director. In the local elections on September 9, 2001, he was elected as the CDU candidate for the first full-time district administrator in the Emsland district and was confirmed in office in 2006. On October 28, 2011, Bröring was appointed honorary district administrator of the Emsland district, and his active political career ended on October 31, 2011.

Bröring is President of the Emsland Landscape , Chairman of the Emsland Homeland Federation and President of the Johann Alexander Wisniewsky Foundation.
