Hermann Braun (doctor)
Hermann Braun (born April 2, 1916 in Elbart ; † July 28, 1995 in Nittendorf ) was a German general practitioner and professional medical officer.
Live and act
Hermann Braun attended the New Gymnasium in Regensburg. After graduating from high school, he studied medicine from 1937 to 1942 at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . He passed the state examination in 1942 and was awarded a Dr. med. PhD. As a soldier and medical officer in the Wehrmacht, he was taken prisoner of war. Released in February 1946, he settled as a country doctor in Nittendorf near Regensburg. From 1969 to 1987 he was Vice President of the Bavarian Medical Association . In 1972 he was elected deputy federal chairman of the Hartmannbund.
