Hermann Hartleb
Hermann Hartleb (* 1953 ) is an Austrian politician for the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). From 2012 to 2018 he was a member of the Styrian Landtag , where he succeeded Peter Rieser , who had been a member of the Landtag for 14 years, and was a local politician. In the state parliament he was the spokesman for rural development and tourism.
politics
Hartleb was chairman of the young ÖVP in his youth . From 1985 onwards he was a member of the local council of St. Georgen ob Judenburg and was elected mayor in 1999. In the municipal council elections in Styria in 2015 , he again ran as the top candidate in his home municipality.
He is also district party chairman of the ÖVP in the Murtal district and chairman of the rural development of Styria .
On April 24, 2012, Hartleb was sworn in in the state parliament. He gave his first speech in the state parliament on June 19, 2012 on the subject of “Report on developments in the European Union”.
Hartleb is also on the regional board of Regionalmanagement Obersteiermark West GmbH (ROW).
In October 2018 he was succeeded by Friedrich Reisinger as a member of the state parliament.
education and profession
Hartleb learned the profession of baker and confectioner and passed the master's examination as a confectioner. Today he is an independent insurance broker and has his office in Judenburg .
Private
Hartleb lives in a community and has two grown sons.
