Hermann Horn (politician)

Friedrich Wilhelm Hermann Horn (born May 23, 1850 in Goslar ; † December 13, 1918 there ) was a factory owner and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Horn attended the Progymnasium in Goslar and the commercial school in Hanover . In 1869 he joined the Hanoverian Jäger Battalion No. 10 as a one-year volunteer , took part in the campaign against France and was dismissed as captain of the Landwehr. In 1873 he bought a factory in Goslar. From 1891 he was chairman of the Goslar Chamber of Commerce and a member of the district council.

From 1892 to 1908 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1898 to 1907 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Province of Hanover 13 ( Goslar , Zellerfeld , Ilfeld ) and the National Liberal Party .
