Hermann Young
Hermann Junge (born April 9, 1841 in Hastedt , † January 2, 1924 in Bremerhaven ) was a German trade unionist and social democratic politician.
biography
Boy attended elementary school. He was a cigar worker by profession. In 1865 he joined the ADAV and in 1867 the union. Between 1884 and 1900 he was chairman teilbesoldeter the central executive committee of the free trade union Tobacco Workers' Union. Junge was chairman of the SPD in Bremen in 1890/91 . From 1892 to 1912 he had his own raw tobacco shop in Bremen. After that he lived as a privateer .
politics
Between 1893 and 1896 and from 1902 to 1918 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship for the SPD . He ran for the Reichstag in 1898 in the constituency of Hanover 6 (Syke - Hoya - Verden - Achim) without success. In 1919/20 he was the age president of the constituent Bremen National Assembly .
