Hermann Locarek boy
Hermann Locarek-Junge (born May 15, 1957 in Augsburg ) is a German economist and business IT specialist .
After High School Locarek studied from 1976 to 1983 at the University of Augsburg Economics , where he completed his studies in Business Administration from. At the same time, he studied computer science for six semesters at the University of Hagen . From 1984 he was a research assistant at the Department of Statistics and doctorate there in 1987 in economics.
In 1991 he took over a professorship for business informatics , especially corporate communication systems, at the University of Essen . Locarek-Junge has held the Chair of Finance and Financial Services at the TU Dresden since 1995 . In 1999, he turned down the appointment as founding president and professor at the Lahr University of Applied Sciences .
In addition to teaching at TU Dresden, he became adjunct professor in 2001 and was a lecturer in the MBA program at Pfeiffer University in Charlotte NC and lecturer in the English-language master’s programs at Dresden International University and IPFM (Prague) until 2014 . From 2005 to 2019 he was also director of studies and lecturer at the Saxon Administration and Business Academy . Since 2009, he has also been a visiting professor in the English-language Bachelor's and Master's program at the Wroclaw University of Economics in Wrocław ( Poland ).
