Hermann Kroll-Schlueter

Hermann Kroll-Schlueter (born March 1, 1939 in Belecke ) is a German farmer and politician ( CDU ).

Kroll-Schlüter began an agricultural apprenticeship. In 1965 he passed his diploma and the agricultural master's examination at the social institute Kommende and the German rural youth academy in Fredeburg , and in 1970 took over his parents' farm in Belecke. He had already joined the CDU in 1959. From 1969 to 1975 he was mayor of Belecke and from 1975 to 1989 mayor of Warstein . He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1972 to 1990. In 1972 and 1976 he won the direct mandate in the Lippstadt - Brilon constituency and in the subsequent elections in the Soest constituency . From 1991 to 1998 he was State Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests of the Free State of Saxony .

Church honorary office

Hermann Kroll-Schlüter was involved in various voluntary work in the church, most recently from 2001 to 2009 as chairman and managing director of the Catholic rural people movement in Germany and the International Rural Development Service (ILD).
