Hermann Lanske

Hermann Lanske (born October 13, 1927 in Vienna ; † December 28, 1979 there ) was an Austrian film producer , screenwriter and television director .

Life

Lanske was in the late 1940s and in the 1950s as an assistant director working for the first time in 1948 in GW Pabst's feature film The process and most recently in The blond Kathrein by Hans Quest him, for the well during the filming of The Lindenwirtin from the Danube beach and My treasure from Tyrol assisted.

In 1957 he directed the television comedy Die Fee himself for the first time in cooperation with Peter Beauvais . Among other things, he was seen on November 25, 1971 in the ZDF workshop . He also performed several Vienna New Year's concerts . He died while rehearsing for the 1980 New Year's Concert, the first after the Willi Boskovsky era , in the broadcast van . In the last year of his life he made the television film Let's Lie .

Since 1945 he was a member of the Catholic student association KÖHV Amelungia Vienna in the ÖCV .

Honors

Lanske was appointed professor by the Austrian Federal President . Hermann-Lanske-Weg was named after him on May 4, 2010 in Vienna's district 13– Hietzing .
