Hermann Mock

Hermann Mock (born April 15, 1824 in Sigmaringen ; † March 17, 1883 ibid) was a Hohenzollern Oberamtmann .

Life

Hermann Mock was the son of an innkeeper. After attending grammar school in Sigmaringen, he studied law in Tübingen, Heidelberg and Munich. In 1849 he passed his first state examination in law. From 1849 to 1850 he worked as a clerk at the Sigmaringen Oberamt , and in 1850 he was accepted into the Prussian civil service. In 1850 and 1851 he was actuarial administrator at the Sigmaringen Oberamt, as well as deputy court secretary and legal intern with the Prussian government in Sigmaringen. In 1852 and 1853, then district court secretary at the Wald judicial commission and trainee lawyer at the Hechingen district court . From 1853 to 1854 he headed the Oberamt Sigmaringen as administrative administrator, from 1855 to 1862 the Oberamt Wald , from 1862 to 1873 the Oberamt Gammertingen and from 1873 to 1883 the Oberamt Sigmaringen. Hermann Mock was chairman of the agricultural district office in Sigmaringen and, in 1856, chairman of the administrative board of the state hospital in Sigmaringen.
