Hermann Noë
Hermann Noë (born December 8, 1879 in Zweibrücken , † September 4, 1961 in Bremerhaven ) was a German mechanical engineer and shipyard director of the Schichau shipyard .
biography
After graduating from high school, Hermann Noë studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Karlsruhe . In 1907/08 he became a member of the Ascania-Brandenburgia Charlottenburg Landsmannschaft . In 1929 he took over the management of the Schichau shipyard in Danzig , today the Danzig shipyard . After the Second World War , he founded the machine company F. Schichau AG in Bremerhaven as a ship repair company, which started building ships again from 1949. 1956 Noë resigned and his son Hermann Noë jun. (* 1921) took over the chairmanship of the board while he was chairman of the supervisory board.
His brother was the industrialist Ludwig Noë .
