Hermann Rieck
Nikolaus August Hermann Rieck (born November 27, 1850 in Hamburg , † after 1917) was a German landscape and genre painter .
Life
Rieck studied painting at the Berlin Academy and under Ferdinand Pauwels at the Grand Ducal Saxon Art School in Weimar . He then spent a time in Düsseldorf , Dresden and Munich before returning to Hamburg in 1883. There he was a member of the Hamburg Artists' Association from 1832 .
