Hermann Joseph Johann Romahn (born May 28, 1814 in Braunsberg , Warmia , † September 19, 1882 (in Elbing ?)) Was a German lawyer and member of parliament in West Prussia.

Life

Romahn attended the Royal Catholic High School in Braunsberg and studied law at the Albertus University of Königsberg from 1834 . He became a member of the Corpsland Team Baltia , which was taken over by Corps Masovia in 1840 . After the exams he became a district judge, later a lawyer and notary in Elbing. From 1863 to 1866 he was a judicial councilor in the Prussian House of Representatives (constituency 8, 1 / Danzig 1; bkF. WK 8, 2–8, 3 / Danzig 1: Conservative, election in November 1863 declared invalid, re-election of the District Court Council in Elbing). He was co-founder and chairman of the Patriotic Association in Elbing.
