Hermann Scheunemann

Hermann Scheunemann (born April 21, 1940 in Baden (Lower Austria) ) is a Hamburg politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany and a former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life and party

Scheunemann is a trained tax assistant and worked as a roofing contractor.

He was district chairman of the SPD Hamburg-Nord until 2002. He did not stand for election again that year. From June 1978 to 1986 and from June 1987 to September 1997 he was a member of the Hamburg Parliament and was for his parliamentary group on the Transport Committee, the Port, Economy and Agriculture Committee, and the Committee on Property and Public Enterprises.

After his parliamentary career, he is a deputy for the SPD in the cultural authority. In addition, on May 6, 2006, he was elected to the party's arbitration committee as an assessor.

He is second married to the journalist Claudia Spiewak , whom he met in the 1980s on the occasion of a public hearing. Before that he was married to Anke Hartnagel (SPD member of the Bundestag from 1998 to 2004).
