Hermann Schulte-Heuthaus

Hermann Schulte-Heuthaus (born January 15, 1898 at Gut Klein Weißensee in the Wehlau district , East Prussia ; † December 28, 1979 in Berlin ) was a German officer , most recently major general in World War II .

Life

Major General Schulte-Heuthaus was appointed the last commander of the Brandenburg Division on October 20, 1944 , which was deployed in East Prussia and Lusatia from February 1945 as part of the "Greater Germany" tank corps . The war ended in May 1945 as part of the LIX. Army corps in Czechoslovakia in the Olmütz and Deutsch-Brod area .

His grave is in the Zehlendorf cemetery .
