Hermann Schumann

Hermann Schumann (born February 15, 1808 in Białystok , † September 14, 1889 in Danzig ) was a German pastor and member of parliament in East Prussia.

Life

Hermann Schumann came from the former province of New East Prussia (1795–1807). Like his brother Otto Schumann , he attended the old town high school in Königsberg i. Pr. As a student of Protestant theology at the Albertus University in Königsberg , he followed him in the fall of 1825 as a member of the preliminary connection of the Corps Masovia . He became a pastor in Schönfließ , Rastenburg district . For Sensburg / Ortelsburg he sat in the Prussian House of Representatives . His son was the high school teacher and natural scientist Eduard Schumann .
