Otto Eduard Julius Constantin Schumann (born November 20, 1805 in Białystok , New East Prussia ; † January 24, 1869 in Königsberg i. Pr. ) Was a German judge and member of parliament in East Prussia.

Life

Schumann attended the old town high school in Königsberg and studied law at the Albertus University in Königsberg . In autumn 1824 he became active in the Corps Masovia with Friedrich Dewischeit and Julius Larz (before Theophil Herbst ) . After passing his exams and training as an auscultator, he became a district court director, and later a district and city judge in Sensburg . From 1862 to 1866 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for constituency 6 / Gumbinnen 7 (progress / waiter) and constituency 7–8 / Gumbinnen 7 (progress). Presumably "in the interest of the service" it was put up for disposal in 1866. His brother and corps brother Hermann Schumann (1808–1889) was a pastor and also a member of the Prussian House of Representatives.
