Hermann Steppuhn

Hermann Steppuhn (born May 14, 1827 in Lackmedien , formerly Medlauken , Friedland district ; † May 8, 1907 at Gut Liekeim, Bartenstein district ) was a manor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Steppuhn attended high school in Rastenburg and in 1862 acquired the Liekeim manor near Bartenstein . From 1882 to 1888 he was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of East Prussia . From 1873 he was head of office. He was also a member of the district council and district committee of the Friedland district in East Prussia.

As a member of the German Conservative Party , he sat in the Reichstag from 1893 to 1898 for the Reichstag constituency of Königsberg 10th district .

He was the father of Elisabet Boehm , the founder of the rural women movement.
