The constituency of the German Reich.

The Reichstag constituency province of East Prussia - administrative district Königsberg 10 (constituency 10; constituency Rastenburg-Gerdauen-Friedland ) was a constituency for the Reichstag elections in the German Empire and the North German Confederation from 1867 to 1918.

Constituency layout

The constituency comprised the district of Gerdauen , the district of Rastenburg and the district of Friedland .

Clemens von Klinckowstroem ran as a joint candidate for the Conservatives and the BdL. The FVg supported the candidate of the FVP. There was only one ballot. The number of eligible voters was 23,566 and the number of votes cast 15,512, of which 70 were invalid. The turnout was 65.8%.

Substitute election 1902

After the death of Klinckowstroems, there was a replacement election on March 18, 1902. Conservatives and BdL again named a joint candidate. There was only one ballot. The number of eligible voters was 23,448 and the number of votes cast 17,754, of which 52 were invalid. The turnout was 75.7%.

1903

The conservatives initially nominated the manor owner Rautter as a joint candidate for the conservatives and the BdL. However, the BdL shop stewards' meeting rejected this and named Hellbardt as a candidate. However, since he was an NLP member, the Conservatives named the press again as a conservative candidate. There was only one ballot. The number of eligible voters was 24,017 and the number of votes cast 17,436, of which 69 were invalid. The turnout was 72.6%.
