The constituency of the German Reich.

The Reichstag constituency Province East Prussia - Administrative Region Königsberg 9 (constituency 9; constituency Allenstein-Rössel ) was a constituency for the Reichstag elections in the German Empire and the North German Confederation from 1867 to 1918.

Replacement election 1867

Eduard Vogel von Falckenstein rejects the election because of double elections (he accepted the mandate in the Reichstag constituency of Königsberg administrative region 3 ). Therefore there was a replacement election on October 10, 1867. There was only one ballot.

After Borowski's death on January 24, 1890, no replacement election took place.

1890

In the last electoral term, Borowski said in the Reichstag that “there are no more Poles in Warmia”. This statement provoked the candidacy of a Polish candidate of his own. There was only one ballot. The number of eligible voters was 23,790 and the number of votes cast 15,191, of which 46 were invalid. The turnout was 63.9%.

1893

In the run-up to the election, the Poles' electoral association tried to get Dr. To set up Wolszlegier as a joint candidate with the conservatives against the center. The conservatives decided on their own candidate, the master goldsmith Fischer. There were two ballots. The number of eligible voters was 23,868 and the number of votes cast in the first ballot 14,549, of which 25 were invalid. The turnout was 61.0%.

In the runoff election, NLP, conservatives and the Protestant clergy support Wolszlegier. The number of votes cast in the runoff was 16,487, of which 24 were invalid. The turnout was 69.1%.

Replacement election 1911

After Hirschberg's death there was a replacement election on February 27, 1911. The Conservatives supported the center's candidate. There was only one ballot. The number of votes cast 18,513, of which 83 were invalid. The turnout was 69.4%.
