Hermann Valentin (born December 19, 1863 in Harpstedt , † May 15, 1913 in Detmold ) was a German lawyer and politician in the Principality of Lippe .

Life

Born the son of a doctor, Valentin studied law , philology and history in Heidelberg and Berlin after attending the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gymnasium in Hanover . During his studies in 1881 he became a member of the Frankonia Heidelberg fraternity . After his exams in 1884 and 1889, he became an assessor at the Detmold district court and in 1893 a district judge at the Bad Salzuflen district court and a district judge at the Detmold district court. In 1898 he became a district judge . From 1904 to 1910 he was a city ​​councilor in Detmold . In 1906 he became a member of parliament in Lippe , but had to give up his mandate again in 1907 for health reasons. He retired in 1913 and died a short time later.
