Hermann Waldschmidt

Karl Ferdinand Hermann Waldschmidt (born February 4, 1862 in Wega ; † March 29, 1930 ibid) was a German landowner and politician ( DNVP ).

Waldschmidt was the son of the estate and mill owner Julius Waldschmidt and his wife Karoline nee Klein. He married Johanna Trummel from Aachen on May 24, 1895.

Waldschmidt visited the schools in Wega, Nieder-Wildungen and Hann. Münden to secondary school. Then he did an agricultural training on his father's estate and an estate in Körbisdorf near Magdeburg . From 1884 he lived again on his father's mill estate, which he took over in 1900. He was a board member of the Chamber of Agriculture and held many honorary positions.

From 1905 to 1919 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont , elected in the constituency of Eder . From 1919 to 1922 he was a member of the constitution-making Waldeck-Pyrmont state representation for the DNVP after the November Revolution . He then belonged from 1922 to 1925 for the Waldeck regional electoral association of the Waldeck regional representation.
