Hermann Wittich

Hermann Gottlieb Friedrich Wittich (born May 26, 1826 in Bodelshausen ; † October 1, 1906 in Rottenburg am Neckar ) was a German civil servant and politician and an honorary citizen of the city of Rottenburg. He was a member of the Second Chamber of the Württemberg Land estates (1887-1894).

Live and act

Wittich was the son of pastor Gottlob Heinrich Wittich and studied regiminalistics in Tübingen . There he became a member of the Germania Tübingen fraternity in 1844 . From 1851 to 1866 he was senior actuary at the Waiblingen Oberamt , then at the Aalen Oberamt until 1876 and at the Rottenburg Oberamt until 1894 . In 1887 he became a member of the Württemberg state parliament for the Württemberg state party, to which he was a member until 1894. He was a member of the rules of procedure, petition, constitutional law and high school commission. In 1894 he retired.

His brother was the general superintendent of Tübingen and member of the state parliament Ernst von Wittich .
