The Hermannsberg , also known as the Großer Hermannsberg , is a 364 m high mountain in the Lippe district . It is one of the peaks in the Teutoburg Forest and is located in the Teutoburg Forest / Eggegebirge Nature Park between Augustdorf in the south and Hörste in the north. Together with the stacking mountains adjoining to the northwest , the Hermannsberg forms a striking silhouette in the ridge of the Teutoburg Forest when viewed from the west and southwest, immediately northwest of the intersection of the Dörenschlucht gorge .
