Hermione Norris (born February 12, 1967 in Paddington , England , United Kingdom ) is a British actress . Her best-known role in German-speaking countries is that of Ros Myers in the series Spooks - In the sights of MI5 . She was also part of the main cast of Hautnah - The Hill Method and is the leading actress in In the Club

Norris was born in Paddington, London and is the second of four children, two brothers and two sisters. Her parents divorced when she was four years old and subsequently grew up temporarily with her grandmother. She left school in the 11th grade without a degree, but got a place at the Elmhurst School for Dance, where she attended ballet classes and first theater courses. After a few smaller jobs, she began her training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art . She made her acting debut in 1989 in a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream . She made her TV debut in 1991 when she played the daughter of a role played by Bill Nighy in The Men's Room . In the following years she could be seen in the comedy Cold Feet , as well as in Up Close - The Hill Method until she got her role in Spooks - In the sights of MI5 . After the end of this role, she appeared in the British sci-fi series Outcasts in 2011 . In 2014 she was seen in the episode Kill The Moon of the Doctor Who series.

She has been in a relationship with Simon Wheeler since the beginning of 2002 and has been married since the end of 2002. They have two children, a son, Wilf, and a daughter, Hero.
