Hero Beauregard Faulkner Fiennes Tiffin (born November 6, 1997 ) is a British actor . Fiennes Tiffin became known through the film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince , in which he played the 11-year-old Tom Riddle .

family

Fiennes Tiffin is the son of director George Tiffin and Martha Fiennes . He has a brother and a sister who starred as little Georgiana in the film The Duchess . Two uncles of Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Joseph Fiennes and Ralph Fiennes , are also actors.

Career

Fiennes Tiffin had his first role as child thief Spartak in the British immigrant drama Bigga Than Ben . He was then asked by Harry Potter director David Yates to apply for the role of child Tom Riddle in the sixth part of the Harry Potter film series ( Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince ) within a public tender . Yates later explained that the boy got the role because of his ability to have a certain depth in his dialogues and not because of his kinship with Ralph Fiennes , who played the adult Tom Riddle / Lord Voldemort from the fourth part ( Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire ).

In 2019, he returned to the big screen as the male lead, Hardin Scott, in the film adaptation of Anna Todd's bestselling novel , After Passion .
