Heart on a stick
Herz am Spieß is a German comedy by Maximilian Vitus from 1953.
action
At the beginning, Aunt Rosa lays the cards and predicts an imminent wedding. The late Hupfauer stipulates in his will that Mali and Martin should inherit half of the hotel. If Martin cannot be found or does not participate, the hotel will be bequeathed to the state for charitable purposes if she does not marry within a year. Martin shows up shortly before the deadline - completely unsightly and with unpresentable manners. He offers her to pretend to marry and after a year to divorce her guilty. During this time he wants to teach Rosa the hotel trade.
When the hotel is overbooked and Martin dismisses the head waiter, he comes back to the hotel as his own brother Gustl. The couple fall in love with each other. In the end everything dissolves and a happy couple is left behind.
