The song describes the daily routine and the daydreams of a man, which are repeatedly interrupted by calls from his loved ones or the longing for these calls. The text of the song is sung in the form of an enumeration (excerpt: "I read my horoscope in the picture every day / Then I'll cook an egg because you want to be fit"), with each point of the enumeration by a women's choir, who "So what? What then? ”Sings, is announced.

Around the year 2000, Trio played a new version of Herz ist Trumpf as part of the preparations for an ultimately failed comeback . In this version, Stephan Remmler's three sons Cecil, Jonni and Lauro Remmler sang the choir . However, this version remained unpublished.
