Heyerhof is a hamlet that belongs to the local community Albisheim (Pfrimm) in the Donnersbergkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate .

location

Heyerhof is located in the middle Pfrimm valley between Albisheim and Marnheim . The city of Kirchheimbolanden is about five kilometers to the northwest. The district road 63 runs through the village, the federal road 47 runs north of the village and the Zellertalbahn runs south .

history

The place originated in the Middle Ages. In 1364 it was named “Hof zur Hawe”, in 1491 the “Hofflude zu Hauw” was mentioned, and in the 16th century and the beginning of the 18th century it was called “Hof zur Hawe” again. In 1828 the name "Hayerhof" but also "Heuerhof" is used for the first time.

Around 1865, the village of Heyerhof had 33 residents and 10 buildings, with the exception of two Catholics, all residents were Protestant and belonged to the Albisheim parish.
